Distinguished composer/lyricist Alan Menken is responsible for writing many of the catchiest tunes from Walt Disney features of the lately '80s through the mid-'90s, including such chart-toppers as "Unit Newly World" (from Aladdin) and "Colours of the Twist" (Matoaka).
